Viaggio Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info. Viaggio creates an anonymous account by default. If you choose to sign in, we use Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or email/password (via Firebase Authentication), which may include your name and email address.
• Trip data. Travel plans, visits, favorites, and profile details you create in the app are stored in Firebase Firestore, synced across your devices, and cached on-device for offline use.
• Location. With your permission, Viaggio uses your device location to power features like nearby places and visit check-ins. You can grant or revoke this at any time in iOS Settings.
• Notifications. If enabled, Viaggio schedules local notifications (e.g. trip reminders) on your device. These are not sent from a server.
• Subscription info. Premium subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and the App Store. RevenueCat receives a device/user identifier and purchase/transaction data to manage entitlements; we do not receive or store your payment details.
• Crash and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and basic diagnostic information to help us fix bugs.

How we use it

We use this data only to provide and improve Viaggio's core features — syncing your trips, showing relevant places, sending reminders you opted into, managing your subscription, and diagnosing crashes. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that power the app's features: Google/Firebase (authentication, database, crash reporting) and RevenueCat (subscription management). Each processes data under its own privacy policy and only to the extent needed to provide that service to Viaggio.

Your choices

• Location and notification permissions can be changed anytime in iOS Settings.
• You can delete your account and all associated data from Viaggio → Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your plans, visits, and badges.
• You can also request data deletion by emailing us (see below).
